Respecting language and culture, Step By Step Resource Center serves adults 18 years of age and older through Coordinated Family Support (CFS). We aim to help individuals and their families address and remove the challenges faced when seeking services that would otherwise prevent them from remaining in the home.

With Coordinated Career Pathways (CCP), services are designed to support regional center eligible adults with personalized career planning and action steps. Services from Step By Step Resource Center will be tailored to the unique needs of each situation and will be respectful of the language, ethnicity, and culture present in the family home setting.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) TRAINING AND SUPPORT SERVICES

At Step-by-Step Resource Center, our Independent Living Service (ILS) is designed to empower adults with developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, or other support needs to lead fulfilling and self-directed lives within their communities. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live as independently as possible, with dignity, purpose, and confidence.

AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) TRAINING AND SUPPORT SERVICES

Our ASL Training and Support Services provide individuals and families with the skills and resources needed to communicate effectively with the hearing-impaired community. Services include beginner to advanced ASL classes, one-on-one coaching, and customized training for workplace or community settings. These services promote inclusion, accessibility, and meaningful engagement for all participants.

We know it can be challenging to find employment after incarceration. This difficulty often causes individuals to re-offend. SBSRC is dedicated to helping break the cycle and will work with at-risk job applicants through education, training, and job placement.

Whether you are re-entering society or have behavioral health matters that need assistance towards the achievement of independent living, SBSRC offers supportive temporary housing to support the transition towards independence.

occupational therapy

We offer Occupational Therapy to teach individuals with physical, sensory, or cognitive difficulties how to adapt. With occupational therapy, individuals learn to perform tasks at school, work, or home.

mental & behavioral health support

SBSRC is available to assist individuals living with mental and behavioral health conditions. We help individuals with cognitive disabilities and mood disorders with supportive therapies to address social anxieties often preventing individuals from successfully integrating into society.
